Attend a workshop of Iowa Kitchen Connect and learn about tools you need to start your food business.

Iowa Kitchen Connect’s workshop Starting Off Right, is led by food business consultant, Jesse Singerman, who will give you all the tools you need to start your food business. This training will cover everything from making a business plan to feasibility analysis, product pricing to business finances. Attendees will also have the chance to meet with local officials and area professionals who can give insight into available resources, as well as fellow beginning food entrepreneurs.

Dubuque Oct. 6th

The training will be held from 10AM-4PM on Friday, October 6th at Convivium Urban Farmstead in downtown Dubuque. Coffee, muffins, and lunch will be provided during the training. In addition to the training on Friday, there will be a social hour from 6PM-8PM on Thursday, October 5th at Convivium. Light appetizers will be provided at the social, as well as a cash bar.

The training will be held from 10AM-4PM on Wednesday, October 11th at the Wallace House at 756 16th Street in the Sherman Hill Neighborhood (just west of downtown Des Moines). Lunch will be provided during the training.
